Three + one

As usual I have had no time to post all of the things that have happened in the past few months. I had been feeling extremely tired and THIRSTY in March but didn't think much about it. I remember Aman saying that he was happy with having just one baby and for some reason while making dinner that day I felt like I was breathing hard and felt really anxious. A few days later I took a pregnancy test and found out we were expecting another little bean (I guess my body reacted to his comment for the right reasons).

Memorial day in Half Moon Bay

It was a strange feeling knowing we are going to have another baby, both of us were hugging Aamira and eventually vented that we were sad that our Aamira wouldn't have all of our attention anymore. That night we told Aamira there was a "baby in mumma's tummy" and ever since then she has been obsessed with my belly. She has to hug the baby, kiss the baby, and even go to all of my appointments to hear/see the baby. I just pray to have a happy, healthy, and safe baby that will get along with her older sister and her family.

Forgot to mention we went to Chicago this year in May for my cousin Dipi's wedding. We woke up super early to make it to our flight, I was afraid of how Aamira would be during the trip but for the most part she was okay. We left on Thursday May 1, 2014, got there around 7:00pm Chicago time and had to be ready in thirty minutes to go to an engagement ceremony. We all got ready (no shower...dirty dirty), and made it to the event.
5:00am at Nani's..so sleepy

Finally in our room, she called it our new room

Friday was the ladies sangeet so we got to sleep in and eventually started decorating the room the sangeet would take place in. I thought we would get a chance to visit downtown Chicago, but it took us so long to put our back drop together that we didn't have time. I must say just spending time with the family was worth it.
Took so long but looked awesome

Love you baby

Ahh

Didn't plan to wear the same colors

Saturday was the day of the wedding and reception. The Gurudwara was beautiful and so was the entire ceremony. It was nice to hear the Babaji speak since he actually had a sense of humor and every one in the sangat actually laughed....out LOUD! Aamira was the flower girl, I had no expectations for her to actually hold her basket and walk to the front of the Gurudwara but she did. Sukhman held her hand while she violently threw the flowers out of the basket. After the wedding we took a nap at the hotel and then it was time to leave for the reception. Unfortunately the reception was about 40 minutes away and Aamira ended up throwing up all over her Minnie Mouse pj's, pink Minnie Mouse toy, and Minnie Mouse blanket. We threw away all of the dirty stuff and I felt super sad. She didn't eat very well during the whole trip and then she ended up throwing up the little she did eat. My mom and I got to get all dolled up for the reception but Aamira threw up while we were there too. We didn't stay at the party for too long and were California bound the next day. So nice to be home! :)

After Sukhman's graduation dinner in Suisun

I was nervous about what the sex of the baby would be, I love the relationship I have with my sisters so I really wanted Aamira to experience that, but on the other hand I love my brother so much! I told Aman if I had a boy, we would have to have another baby just so one of them would have a sibling of the same sex. We went for the ultrasound appointment on July 25, 2014. I was fortunate to see how much the baby had grown and after what felt like days the nurse finally called in Aman and Aamira to find out the sex of the baby. I was so anxious/excited, the baby had it's legs crossed so the nurse was having a hard time determining the sex of the baby. Finally she said, "It's a girl!" I felt so happy and got teary eyed telling Aamira she was going to have a baby sister. Aman said, "Thank God, now we are done!" (we will let him think that for now ;) ).

New addition :)

Anu Maci's 14th birthday hehe ;)

Didn't think I this would get done that night

Me and bean kinda night

Enjoyed my day after work with this bean

I am almost 28 weeks pregnant and the time has really flown by.  During our last appointment, Dr. Chang let Aamira turn on the tool used to hear the babies heart beat, now she puts her ear on my stomach and tells me that she could still hear the "boom boom boom." Last Saturday Anu asked if Aamira would share her baby bottle with her and Aamira hugged her bottle and said, "No, this is Aamira's bottle" with a cute little voice. Eventually she said she would share, but her initial reaction made me nervous! I feel like I have been so busy that I haven't had time to think about how things will be when the little baby comes, maybe it's better that way.

Almost there

I am officially bored with Facebook and IG, no one seems to share any interesting photos or stories anymore. I needed something to do on my down time and thought about looking for a blogging app and low and behold I found one!! Hopefully this means I could update my blog posts more often (just don't mind any grammatical errors since it's not so easy to read this tiny font). We are pretty darn close to having our home be move in ready. The carpet is in, wood looks amazing, and Aman's TV and sound bar are officially on the wall (all he really needs). I'm so excited to share pics!!
I love everything about our new place so far. The only real stressful part of our new journey is actually moving all of our stuff out of the in laws place and figuring out what we need to complete our everyday tasks. We purchased a sofa in December and we haven't received it yet, we still need a dining table, and we really, really need a king size bed. It will be a while before we buy any of those things but I am fine with that.
As for little Aamira, she is as naughty as can be. She just fell asleep and was tossing and turning for 20 minutes! She says so much now, she can identify so many animals, mimick the sounds they make, can count up to eleven, knows the Micky mouse clubhouse theme song (most of it), and loves wait for a minute by justin b. She is growing up so fast, I really want time to slow down so I could cherish each moment just a little longer. I will have to end this post now since my hubby brought me food, I would like to eat it and go to bed!!! Goodnight everyone!
